In the event the scope of work includes connections to the building’s main electric, domestic water, condenser water, waste lines, fire/life safety system, a Building Engineer will need to be on site. Some of these connections (as specified by Management) are required to be performed after normal business hours. This work would include but not be limited to scans, x-rays, core drills, testing and access to occupied tenants spaces.
The overtime hourly wage for a building engineer is currently $75 per hour. There is a minimum fee of four (4) hours if an engineer is off-site and is called in to respond to a call related to any construction issues. The contractor or tenant will be invoiced separately.
